Hey guys i need help , so i bought mine own guards and installing myself since i got a ridiculous quote from the dealership ($280) for front and rears like wth. Upon trying to drill out the bottom with 3/16 there is already some type of screw in there, some drill bit type. How did u guys get this out without breaking the plastic ? https://ibb.co/f4qvgk As you can see i already stripped it .That is what is under on the instructions under Fig 1 #7

Old thread but I am waiting on some better weather to install front and rear splash guards.
I am sure nosam1g has figured out by now that it is a rivet he is trying to drill out. Once you have drilled the rivet out the instructions tell you to enlarge the hole to 8mm for the plastic pushpin which seems a little excessive? Has anyone who has done this confirm that 8mm is correct? |
8mm is correct tried 7.5mm first but pushpin wouldn't go in.
Front and rear splash guards now fitted. :tiphat: |
