Unfortunately us aussies won't be able to test drive this car until May. That's when it goes on sale in Australia.

Anyone else notice that there isnt a stripper Base version? It looks like the only options you have are either manual or automatic.

Yeah that's shame but the market here is so much lower so they uncomplicate things by giving us everything. A shame as I'm not so bothered by electric seats.

The pdf download above shows the Japanese spec wheels. I hope they are not the only option as the one's I see on the forums (Lamborghini style) here are so much nicer.

I'm not sure if they will have the 19" wheels as an option. I hope they do. I was planning on buying it with the 19" wheels. Also the 9.3gb hard drive doesn't seem to be included in the specs.

Hey 370er, have you placed an order yet or are you test driving it first? I'm keen to get an Australian perspective on it.

My wife thinks I should look at a used 350z but I want the 370z. I should be in a position to buy one in a years time (assuming house prices fall a bit).

I haven't placed an order yet. I was thinking of test driving it first but it would be cool to be one of the first to be driving one around in Oz. I think i'll just contact Nissan and see if they have any more information regarding options.

If you buy a second-hand 350Z you might regret it. And waiting until 2010 probably isn't a bad idea because more options could be available.

Good to see another aussie on this forum!

Yeah I think the end of 2010 is a good time as it will give me plenty of time to save.

Hopefully I will absorb plenty of information from here before then.

100,000km warranty is pretty good too, that's almost double what Nissan gives in the US (36,000 miles).

It's getting all of the sport package, LSD, spoiler, brakes but not the wheels? That's kind of odd.

gkmaniac 12-12-2010 09:16 PM

aussies are lucky because our market is smaller and we whinge a lot more - so all the dealers offer typically around 100,000km warranty with an option to extend to 150,000 or 200,000km
