I just tried to buy it on Nissan's Tech Publication page and it is not even listed there.

It's been almost three months, any chance somebody has found one yet?

Specifically I need the wiring if it is not included in the service manual?

Fezzik 12-09-2010 03:40 PM

I tried looking for it when I got all the manuals. No luck. What's odd is that I called a dealership down in texas and they stated they have it so i think its out.

crash1369 12-09-2010 05:33 PM

I would think a 2010 manual must be out by now, they are selling 2011's...

Kirkster 01-04-2011 10:20 AM

I just called Nissan USA and am waiting for a reply to the service manual question.

LOL....

They sent me to two different companies for the manual. They also sent me to the Nissan-techinfo.com website (which I already have already searched). They have the 2010 coupe but no Roadster manual..

As far as anyone at Nissan can determine there is no Roadster service manual...

I have my North American Nissan service specialist looking into it now.

Mr. XXXXXX,

I apologize for the delay in getting back with you. The Service Manual that is available for purchase on the Nissan Publications website is for both the Coupe and Roadster. There are not separate manuals.

Regards,

I guess I will pay the view fee and take a look and see if there are actually roadster specifics in the manual on the website.

Fezzik 01-12-2011 01:12 PM

Fezzik 01-12-2011 01:14 PM

it was 5 post below this one

They need to sticky it.

crash1369 01-12-2011 01:54 PM

Thanks, so that's each section of the manual then? Sure would be nice to get the whole thing but that will certainly work

Fezzik 01-12-2011 02:06 PM

You can get the whole thing. Just download each section to your computer and it will work
the fwd part is like the table of contents

crash1369 01-12-2011 10:13 PM

I've got it all downloaded, thanks again

If anybody knows where we can find it in one file that would be great though. broken up like that you can't really search it, at least not without doing it in sections?

I've never seen it as one file. You could personally combine them. Nissan used to do an index but I havent seen that lately on the newer FSM.

crash1369 01-13-2011 09:38 AM

I thought about doing that, but I don't think I have anything to do it with.

A broken up manual is better then no manual at all

There is indeed an index it is the fwd.pdf file. On my Mac they all come up linked. Just have to click on the one I want to see in the index and it opens it up for me.

Thanks for the confirmation I downloaded it and it is great!!!

I can see now just how complex the roof is just judging from all the checks that have to be made before the roof will open or close.

Geez...

Yeah. there is a table of context the FWD
but what I'm talking about is if u download the 2002 maxima there is a index, where if you wanted to find something like horn, you could go to the index and it will tell you all the locations horn is mentioned or shown. they have not done the indexs the last few years on teh fsm cause I think it was too much work. Its not too hard to navigate the fsm though with teh fwd.
