That all depends. There's a ton of threads on the subject. I'm happy with my Hotchkis, but a lot of people don't like the rear.

Why is everyone droning on about oil coolers here? That component is stock on 2012+ 370Zs. Using part of that $2500 to replace something that Nissan just made standard in that model year seems reckless.

Don't know if it was already suggested but I'd go with stripers. Dead serious.

Oil cooler is only a few hundred I would also do suspension upgrades I feel like our cars have lots of body roll and drive much better with some new suspension goodies :-)

Except the stock one is an oil to water cooler, and an aftermarket cooler will work much better. The stock one is a band aid. |

I think from now on when I start a thread I'll put less info in the title so people actually read the first post
Thx to everyone who actually read the post and made appropriate suggestions |
We were only joking brother.

I guess reading is fundamental. If you are keeping it NA, I would focus on cooling upgrades. CSF Radiator, 34 Row Oil Cooler, and maybe a differential cooler. I can't really relate because I would spend money on upgrades that support a turbo setup (like the ones I mentioned, lol).

An oil cooler and a bunch of track time

Some coilovers to get a proper drop and handling benefits. You can find a used set of KWs or HKS for pretty cheap. Though I may be biased since I'm selling a set. :p

Save the cash ... go Boosted i spent way to much on N/A parts.

That's the long term plan...Gotta buy a new truck in a couple months, and my son just started college, pursuing his masters in Bio-Medical Engineering, so paying for that is eating up a large chunk of my spending money. I just want to do some small things to get me by for a while. Who knows I may end up getting the next Z if the rumors are true about the TT Merc powerplant, it'd probably be cheaper to go that route in the long run.
Thx for your input to everyone who actually read the first post and not just the thread title before posting suggestions. I'll update this once the new parts start getting installed. |
