Awesome that you've got 200K miles out of it.

I need to ask: did you have to fix your back? :D

I mean 100 miles a day, everyday, in the Z is no joke to your body.

LOL, I drive 112 miles a day 5 days a week. I have no issues with my back. It is how you adjust the seat.

I drive 126 miles a day 5-6 days a week. Have no problems with my back. It actually holds me pretty snug.

Off-topic: Noticed today that the Z actually handles better at 100 mph than at 80 mph. Go figure.

Hahahah, I've had my Z for 2 months and I put in 6000 miles already. I'm enjoying every single freaking miles.

I've had mine for two, and have put 3k on it.

I plan on driving this car daily until the wheels fall off, or the hovercar conversion kit comes out.:driving:

I've had a few guys ask, so i'll make a thread on it. I'm in Kms, but I convert it for this.

-ECU died after about 6 months, warranty no biggy other then the down time.

-CSC, went through the original one at about 135,000 miles. (since then I've had to do the CSC 2 more times, the first time it was done I changed to a Stillen flywheel and ACT clutch, it was too much pressure for the OE CSC so I put the OE parts in and it's been good. The dealer even covered them this time, had the master done each time as well.)

-SL went about 150,000 miles, before the recall, got reimbursed after the recall and another one put in, just so they could say it was done and I had the newest version.

-Front hubs, cant remember when for sure, but about 150,000 also.

-Fuel sending unit had to be changed a couple times also, both under warranty, not reading full.

-Fuel Prefilter dirty causing loss of RPM at about 175,000 miles, I pulled the pump unit out and cleaned it, been good since.

-Paint wise, I have a couple paint bubbles starting, as I do drive the car all year round in Canada. As well the usual stone chips, which I try and fill as soon as I notice them.

Oil changes with Redline are every 4500miles, (i'm down about a quart each change) full fluid change every 60k with Redline oils also. Plugs and drive belt (accessory belt) if you prefer done every 75k.

Try to run only Shell premium fuel also.

If you have any questions let me know, if I can think of any thing else I will add it.

Thanks and keep driving!

Hot damn, you must drive a lot. I've never put 200,000 miles on a car before but I used to do a whole lot of driving and would put about 100,000 miles on a new car in about 2.5 years and trade up. I've been through quite a few cars in the last 8 years lol. I'll list 'em if ya'll are curious. all I remember doing during that time is driving. In retrospect, I wish I would have listened to audiobooks and/or picked up language CD's (nutz) and learned another language.

Anyway, thanks for your post. Makes me glad I picked up the Z!

I keep forgetting to ask but do you have an aftermarket oil cooler installed?

No mention of spark plugs in this thread. When I pulled the plugs in my 2004G35 6MT sedan at 105,000 miles, the electrodes were gone. Gap was like half inch. From that experience I think the plugs should be replaced at 50,000 miles. Low rpm throttle response was improved with the new plugs.

Is this American miles or kilometers? Because if it's km's that's only 149k miles. Still a lot but not as impressive as 240k.
