base with sport package vs. nismo boils down to looks really. If you like the look of the nismo then it is worth it to you. I personally hate the look of the nismo and wouldnt be caught dead in it.

Plus, aftermarket suspension isn't tuned to work with all the other parts like Autech does with the NISMO. That is why my NISMO still kicks 350z's with coilovers and race suspension setups at the road courses.

I learned a long time ago from experience that I'm never going to add a bodykit or exterior parts to my car as I will never be happy with the fit and finish. I went with the nismo because the body kit is oem fit and aftermarket aggressive. So that's just a check off my mod list, no body kit needed. The rims are the same. So now just engine, stereo, interior. Tada.

Also the MAIN reason people go base + sport is because the LSD. (Limited Slip Differential) It is way more than worth it to go ahead and get the base+sport for the LSD, there will be no need to replace it, the gearing ratio is much better than stock and is still a good DD ratio. On the other hand if you are going to try and break a land speed record you would want something with a much lower gearing ratio. |

I thought for sure the gearing was different in the LS differential.
Learn something new everyday. But my point is still true, sport package has LSD and revmatch says the web site, I thought they all had revmatch? |

Perhaps some people aren't interested in rendering their brand new car a POS by re-painting it? Nah...they must be broke since they can't afford the $12-15K to properly re-spray a car, since anything less than that would just be ghetto road. Anyone who willingly repaints a brand new car is a retard. |
