So When do the Sales start?

So when do the sales start? I know it's the season for sales and my bank has a few stacks that I can spend. I'm in needs of boost mods: clutch, flywheel, csc/ master, motor mounts, dif. bushings, CSF rad, vented car hood, break lines, gauges (wideband/boost), and any other suggestions.

Work hard = play hard

I'm also eyeing me a new tools set. I'm going to pass the old Craftsman on to pops and buy myself a new 300+ piece set.

I'm considering adding a LSD to the list, just maybe. I was looking at a Quaife but ehh, it depends on the $$. Any venders given deals on big purchases?

Black Friday is usually 10-15% off.

roplusbee 11-16-2014 08:59 PM

That's a pretty big list, but I like your style!

Perhaps I should specify what I would like.

-clutch flywheel: I was looking at Specialty Z because Jwick Rec them and he has the BP kit, however I was originally looking at Southbend. I"m a DD with the occasional heavy foot. I plan to drag a few times a year at the 1/4 mile. I would also like to buy this as a complete kit with csc, lines, ect. It just makes things easier.

-Motor mounts: I'm interested in urethane MM. The Z1 mounts looks nice and sturdy. I looked around and didn't find any other brands that offer urethane MM so I might be stuck with them.

-Rear Dif. Bushing: Whiteline urethane
--piggyback to this: perhaps finned dif cover if super good price.

-CSF rad: CSF triple pass. My local car guy has them in stock and he can sell them to me for like $59x otd.

-Gauges: I think I'm going with AEM boost and wideband gauges. I read decent reviews on them. That don't mean poop because I don't know poop about gauges.

-Vented hood: I don't plan to spend big $$ on this one. I just want more heat out of my car. I want a functioning hood that fits well. I'm going to eventually paint it to match my car.

-Brakes: any SS break lines that are reliable will do.

-LSD: I read up on the Quiafe and the Cusco LSD. My buddy recs the Quaife 1.5. but I'm open to suggestions.

And if anyone has anything on there X-mass list, feel free to post here. The more the better. A centralizes place for x-mass list would be convenient for us and venders. The venders can see what she want and look into deals. As for us purchases, we can hunt, locate and share where these deals are.

I'm ready to buy as soon as I find a me a stupid deal. Lets just say I can max my CC off and then pay it off. 5 mins later (I don't have crazy credit but a few Ks =^) ).

I would give Jomer at Fred Beans a call or PM. Sales/deals all year round, don't have to wait for holidays. I haven't found anyone that can come close to his prices, he has incredible customer service, and he's a forum supporter.

Yep I always talk to Jomer first. Majority of my parts have been ordered through him. I need more people to join the Aerojacket GB so I can get the $100 off on some exterior parts I am wanting.

Anyone intersted in Aerojacket parts now is the time.

Nothing like black Friday to cheapen the name of good quality parts

It's not $300 for the kit. It's the amount of tool pieces in the tool kit. It's actually less than $200 to buy. :tiphat: I don't do crazy stuff with my car (relative as I'm going to boost my car). Spending big $$ on hand tools for the amount of things I fix or fiddle with is not justified. YOur like my mechanic buddy. He graduated from tech school and a year later; he bought 10k worth of Snap on in one week. HE is still paying for it I bet. They and Matco are good stuff but my lifetime Craftsman is a safe and affordable bet.
