Hey guys I was wondering if someone knew the answer to my question?
When I start my car my traction light and skidding light turns on and I can feel my car not have any traction what can this mean? And how can it be fixed?

what brand(s) and size of tires and wheels? stock or aftermarket? Change anything recently? Give us some details.

Yes give more info like is the rear of the car is on jack stands?
Thats the only thing i can think of when you said you felt the car has no traction when you just started the car. Like in stand still and your reving?:driving:

The wheels need to be in contact with the road to have traction or the wheels need to be rotating against the road to have traction. Lol

colder temps + summer tires = hard tires = spinning.

I get it now that it's sub 10*C and this is even from a slow roll to 75% throttle.

Do you have enough brake fluid?

op's like where can i find this brake fluid 'tank' you speak of? i dont see it...

Everything is stock wheels and tires

It's not my brake fluid I checked everything the vdc light and my skidding lights go on every time I start the car and I get no traction

So the lights are on before you even start driving? Or are flashing a lot BECAUSE you have no traction? :confused:

do you skid going reverse too? :confused: ;)


guys was there a way to clear the abs dtc from the obd2? id try that first.

Reset ur ECU.

They turn on when I start the car

Ok so after you start the car does it stop lighting/blinking for about few seconds and after that did you drive the car like crazy or normal driving speed and the light started to blink again and stop blinking when you stop driving? Because its normal for it to light when you start the car then a few seconds it should turn off.

But

if it turns on with a steady light even at stand still just press the VDC button it should stop lighting.

If none of this works call a priest and have your Z exorcised for demons!

They all got pissed with us and bought a civic instead! AFIK.

How can you simply start the car and all.of a sudden you're spinning and can't feel the ground???
