If you don't mind a little squeaking in the morning Yellow Stuff brake pads will make it stop a lot faster. They will get you into the ABS on dry roads if you brake hard. They are a little dusty but not to bad.

Tell me I'm in the wrong car again - very poor quality pads from previous owner was issue. I post on here since the vets know more about this vehicle than I do and an always open to advice. I invite anyone to meet me on the track.

I replaced the OEM pads with Hawk HPS pads. They work fine for street use (I don't track my Z), but they are a bit dusty.

I do have the sport brakes. I was very hard on my stock pads and did not have any street problems but at the track forget it. I happily went to carbotech pads which work well while they are awful dusty and make noise.

Sunday will be the last HPDE event until March or April and I plan on switching to a more OEM pad again.

Good luck.
