Oh but there is more. While belly down on the ground 10 pushups and then thrust up into a burpee.
Not only can I look like a pathetic drunkard as I fall, I can also give the illusion that I am a buff fit athlete.
So i can impress both the party girls and the athletic ones.:ugh2:

Malm 11-08-2014 09:56 AM

im tall and skinny. I still have trouble getting out especially in the 2 car garage with another car in there.

I kind of push myself up and fall out.

scorp38 11-08-2014 10:02 AM

I pull my skirt up swing my legs to the left thats right both legs and simply stand up like a proper lady. Nah I'm just kidding I'm 5'11 180lbs and I have no problem getting in and out of this car you put one leg in you put one lag you put one leg in and sit your *** down.

nomodsjk 11-08-2014 01:11 PM

I use my 3rd leg as a kick stand but only if I'm wearing basketball shorts and no draws! :rofl2:

cooltoy 11-08-2014 01:16 PM

Or when you wear a skirt. Or is that called a kilt?

it took me sometime to get used to having my left leg hurt while i tried to get in and out of the Z, depending as to how much room I have to open the door I either twist my entire body so both my legs are facing the outside of the door and done deal, the same going in but most of the time put my quads to use to push and lower my hairy arse into place... :driving:

T.lynch 11-09-2014 10:33 AM

I put my left leg out and leverage my left hand on the upper part of the door sill. I noticed I was using my elbow against the bolster of the seat causing wear.

Tadpole 11-09-2014 11:12 AM

In and out are no issues. I do kinda like most everyone else does. Getting out is the hardest part especially in the garage since I park on the left side and I can't open the door all the way and a wiggle and a grunt or two gets me out. I even put a foam pad on the garage wall so I don't worry about it when it hits and it hits every time.
It is an art but once you figure it out you are good to go. I do still bang my head sometimes.

Christothep 11-09-2014 11:23 AM

I usually place my hand on the kick plate and push my self out. Lol

nomodsjk 11-09-2014 01:47 PM

The garages in the UK are really not very big.

dant1127 11-10-2014 09:17 AM

This is what I do too. Seems to work OK. I try to avoid kicking the side skirt/door sill when I get in but sometimes my foot still scrapes.

We call that a closet here down in tx... a 1 car garage must, at minimum, fit 2 of them thar smart cars and have space for storage and a work bench.

There is no way in hell I could get out of that. Is the spacing the same on the left side of the car too where you are really suppose to get out? :rofl2:

Getting in to the z doesnt seem as bad i just kinda drop myself into the car lol :ugh2: but getting out of the car i usually stick left leg out and use my left elbow on the seat bolster as leverage and push myself out :icon23:. I havent thought of any other way. i dont mind it i do it on a daily basis and its not like my car is slammed to the floor just on swift springs but i do kinda notice that it seems like my seat bolster is starting to show some wear.

I do not share this with just anyone, but I will here -- just to help.

1. Open the driver's door

2. Place your left hand, palm down, on the ground

3. Grasp the left side of the steering wheel with your right hand

4. Swing your right leg out of the car and settle on your right knee

5. Using the wheel and your right arm strength, pull yourself out of the seat

6. Roll onto the ground gently, settling on your bottom -- note that this requires a 360 degree roll

7. Pull yourself up to a standing position
With practice, this becomes a very fluid and efficient movement.

Yeah, I think I'll just try an upholsterer. The trick is to get the same color (there are a lot of shades of black [and white] believe it or not).

A sunroof and an overhead crane would also work quite well! :)

Akurei 11-14-2014 11:39 AM

What I do is, I grab a pair of trusty scratchless c-wire gloves, the ones with the staples in them, then when walking to my car, I make sure I get my feet wet, then walk on gravel, sand and dirt, mud if all possible, and broken glass. All, I do is open my door (while wearing gloves) place your right hand on and slide it across the top of the roof, then raise your right leg, and slide, making sure there is contact with your foot and the doors inner panels, and slide it across to the floor, making sure my foot remains in contact with every vinyl possible (remove floor mat if equipped before doing so) and place your foot on the floor. Now this is the most important part. ANy time you enter or exit your vehicle, make sure you rub your back on the point sholder of the seat before getting in, that is the most important part. So by the time if you do sell your car, theres a big gaping hole in the seat the next owner doesn't have to worry about screwing up. Ya'll make this too difficult.
