I think the persimmon interiors will actually fetch you a higher resale value than the exterior color of the car. Many people like it, it's relatively rare, and the color isn't so over the top as to put someone off.

My gal does nothing but complain about yellow Z's and how much she hates them, regardless of rarity. I disagree with her but this may be a negative factor with others as well.

Long live yellow.

pw/persimmon IMO is the best color option, when I ordered my z i knew I had to get that color option even if I had to wait 4 months to get it lol

My relatively short experience is that the PW/Orange fully loaded 6 speed is very hard to find even in Socal. I rarely see any for sale. I am like you, that's the only combo I would consider.

Just curious... what year is your car and how much you were able to get off from the MSRP? Thx.

They only had one in the northeast when I was looking but it had 150 miles smh....mine it's a '13 I got it below invoice lol

some color is rare for a reason.... sorry.

I find that in any popular sports car white is the hardest of any color to find and will always command a premium. Some more than others. On the Z I see Pearl White exterior of any combination commanding $750-$1000 roughly higher than say black or silver. In the S2000 world it's even higher. $1500-$2000 especially if you find the white with red/black interior.

so what if it's rare? no one wants it. it's hideous lol. we're talking premium not rarity.

^ good observation but I think what they really trying to imply is:

Rarity equates to premium price in the process.

Btw why so Critical? Lol

In 2010 Black Cherry was a $500 option....But not anymore

All i see at the meets are white Z, probably the most common color on our platform.

Red interior almost always sells for a premium on sports cars.

Black/persimmon looks great too imo.

Agreed, I don't think any color really commands a premium, but there are more desired/rare colors that will be hard to find.

My first choice was a midnight blue with grey leather (I think this is the best combo for the 370z). Second choice was pearl white with persimmon. I own a magnetic black on black

Premium for a 370 no way, being honest some of the same ones have been on the 2 dealerships that I pass by often for months...Needs to be give me a Discount :-)
