The only reason people can buy these "at invoice" is because the economy sucks, Minicoopers were selling at sticker for years since their inception (2002) until this bad economy...Oh, could that be the reason the 370 doesn't sell well?

We must also remember is 370 is a mass produced sports car like the 350 that "most" of us can aquire, I call it the "poor" mans Porsche. Hence you will see start seeing it quite commonly in the near future, here in the DFW area I see few of them daily now besides mine in my driving.

Do you see the same ones daily? Here in Orlando I have only seen 6 in the 9 months I have owned mine. I drive from one end of Orlando to the other daily.

I've seen two this entire time. I drive from Deltona to Orlando daily on I4 and 417. Hopefully by the time I get mine they are still somewhat rare around here. Not that it matters all that much, but still.

I am one of the 807, purchased mine on Sept 1st.

There is only one other 370z in my town at this time. A Blue one.

Blown32 10-02-2009 03:22 PM

I've only seen one other one and that was 30 miles outside of my town. That's since May of this year.

But the sales are up come paired to YTD vs. 350Z

I've only seen one in the Seattle area and that was a Nismo!

This doesn't count the photo my friend sent me of a 370z he saw in a parking lot in Seattle.

It also doesn't count when I was driving on the highway and *thought* I saw a 370z coming up behind me. When it passed, I discovered it was actually a Porsche! :)

I could care less. I've got mine!

The Z has very good reviews and whether you buy an 09 or an 10 the moment you drive it off the lot it will depreciate. I haven't seen many in my area which is a good thing, if they flooded the market the car wouldn't hold up its value as well as it has so far.

When I had my Supra I was happy that Toyota did not saturate the market, all the years I had my car it was rare to see one on the road and that helped keep the value high, I'm hoping Nissan will do the same with the Z. I like the 350's but I see them everywhere!

cptspeed 10-02-2009 04:57 PM

how much was the supra new?

If you're talking MKIV twin turbo, they were high $30K's in '93 and in '98 (their last year here in the U.S.) they were low $50K's.

That's like a $70K car in today's money--expensive.

I know several people holding out for the convertable. Remember only 10k in the entire US right now. Im loving that, I get a lot of stairs and have been asked several times now "what is it?" Can't wait to install the FI exhaust, then she will sound as good as she looks.

I'm with you, forget the numbers and it doesn't change how much I love this car.
