consumer review for 2009

how you doing does anybody have the consumer results for 2009 370 Z?

DEpointfive0 09-29-2014 04:12 PM

Great community. Shitty car.

That's my $5 of info. No. I will not tell you why, read through my 50 threads on how shitty the car is made and how shitty dealer support is

Consumer report is terrible, but if ur buying a car through them the discounts are fair, 33k msrp car was bout for 29.5k.

Well worth the $12 i payed to sing up.

I skimmed the threads you started.
It looks like outside of rattles, stereo, etc the only major thing is you had some issues with the car not starting?
It is early and I haven't had all my coffee yet.

Am I missing anything big?

But if you are buying a 2009, dealer support may no longer be germane.
My 2009 had the engine replaced at 2900 miles. Nothing much since then and have had well over a dozen track days.

I'd buy mine again, but corporate fukc bags tried to make me hate Nissan for life.

It must be an international issue, as reading the UK Nissan forums the common denominator is still that! Bad service from HQ.

Fuk that bogus consumer affairs they wouldn't buy mine back. Promised me result of buy back in 10 days, I had to keep checking with them and finally got answer that it was denied a month later.
They consider berk hfc , cold air intake and their own nismo exhaust exhaust heavily modded lol. But what did that have to do with my 3 valve cover issues , etc again.......

My consumer report is my 2009 at 24K is rolling right along with no oil use, no repairs at all except on/off stereo control button failing. I fixed the stereo myself. I'm an Analog EE. Old Skool.

Other than the fact its a bit tricky to track down their reviews for free -- what's wrong with Consumer Reports?

If you are asking for feedback from owners then my '09 Touring was a great car. A few minor problems that were fixed under warranty, but nothing serious. If I could find a competent Nissan service department anywhere close to me, I'd still be driving it. Unfortunately, none of the Nissan in my area seems to have the slightest idea what they are doing (or just didn't care). I'll not be buying another Nissan in this lifetime.
