ive been reading the reviews on myg37 of the oem nav and most ppl recommend it

i agree and i think the bluetooth hands free works better on the oem..
after market is a guessing game on which system to get. since our cars
aren't known to be quiet at highway speeds.

i look at it the opposite way.
i don't understand why people get aftermarket... it doesn't look "right" and it doesn't work as well with the car...

:iagree:

Now both of them I like. I want the Sports package cause of the SynchroRev system but I also want the Navi package cause of the Navigation system and iPod interface. So my question is, would I be able to buy both packages on the same car or will I just have to pick and chose?

Thanks
:)

I have both and I love it.

[QUOTE=xDIEGOx;13688]Yes you can get both the sports package and Nav option as long as you get the Touring model. The Sports package is available for both Base and Touring models. Nav is only available on the Touring model.

Welcome to the370z.com BTW :hello:[/QUOTE

This is the answer you need.

and only to agree and give same reply as others. :ugh2:

I think the Z is very unique in that the OEM navigation system has a separate location (which I think happens to be really slick) from where an aftermarket system would be installed. I have a Base model with the sports package, and OEM Nav was not an option unless you upgrade to the Touring model (making a $2500 upgrade cost $5000). We were pushing the budget for a new one anyway, so neither was in the cards. But I sure wish I could install an aftermarket system in the cubby location that looks anywhere near as good as OEM Nav. In this regard, the Z is unique compared to other cars.

I ordered mine with with the sport and touring packages and since I got in in March I have been extremely pleased with the combo.

Yes you can get both, but you will most likely get the Touring package as well. Probably very hard to find one with just Sport + Nav, if one like that even exists.

wilsonp 06-14-2011 10:54 PM

As someone already pointed out, Nav is only an option on Touring in the US.

A thread resurrection feels like a good place to make my first post.
Hi!
The way the nav is integrated definitely looks cool, but all the touring/sports in my area dont have it. I dont know if its worth waiting on a custom from Japan just for nav =/

:iagree:And besides, a $129 TomTom would work better and update more easily.
