Turtle Wax sells a black wax called Color Match, it does a great job of hiding scratches on black or dark colored cars. Try it!

No, they haven't dropped me - at least not yet. I doubt they will since I've been with them for 15 years or so. But I do expect that my premiums will go up for the next year or two, so I'll start price shopping when I get the next bill.

How does that work? As most insurance firms want to know if you have had any incidents / claims in the last 3-5 years when attempting to get a new quote.

When you switch insurance companies they are usually interested in how many points (i.e., tickets, and accidents charged to you) you have against your driving record, and your current insurance company also looks at their payouts against your current policy (regardless of "fault"). IME, anyway.

Sorry for troubles OP. GL on repair.

:iagree:

It's our passion, our escape from the daily chaos and even our reward from all the blood, sweat and tears for some us hard working folks. It really is unbelivable how unconscious some people are about others property, then have the nerve to say something like "its just a car".You dont see me hitting your mother and saying... "chill dude, it's just a mom".

I know, i know, kind of strong, but was away from my Z for a few days :shakes head:

You're right, not a whole lot you can do unfortunately. So your options are to 1. Buff and cross ur fingers, 2. Do nothing, 3. Claim it in ur insurance and get part of the new body kit you wanted for free! (Well, your deductible). But still 25% on ur way!

Yeah, like what happened to me a few weeks ago with the jerk merging over right in front of me while I was in the fast lane. I went left, glad I did. He did it on purpose because I tried to pulled up beside him on the right and he speed up.
