IronX and rust

Had some nasty rust drips from a pipe above my car in my garage. I could not get it off with clay or scratchX, so used some IronX. This stuff is awesome! I have used the spray to remove rust contaminants from my wheels, but never had to on the body of car. Used the gel this time, and it just liquified the rust and it washed right off! Highly recommended for rust or brake dust contaminants on your car.

Looks like a chick on the rag leaned up against your car.

That stuff didn't harm the paint at all?

Lol! I know women dig the car, but that's a little too much!

Nope, the stuff is Acid Free and pH neutral so zero damage to the clear coat. Just apply directly to the rust, let sit for 5-6 min, then wash off.

Aside from the smell, Iron-X is awesome. I use it once a year on my wife's white CRV that turns yellow from rust. It's not so much rust, it's small embedded metal particles you see bleeding out.

Wonder if it works on bird crap stains..

It will not work on anything but rust and iron particles from the road, brake pads, or rust drips from pipe. Clay baring only takes the contaminants from the surface, this stuff dissolves the particles below the surface and liquifies it to wash off.

The smell is nasty! They have a new one that supposedly has a more pleasant smell. The gel doesn't smell as bad as the spray, but it is more for spot correction, vs the spray for large body panels and wheels.

Been looking into this stuff myself in the last 3 or 4 weeks ive had to wash my vehicles which arent under cover( the z is ) at the minimum once a week because of whatever is falling out of the air which looks like dirt at first but if left to sit a few days turns into rust spots all over the top of my cars . putting a nice coat of wax on them has helped make it easier to get off the first time i used cleaner wax ive never had this problem before i dont know if its cause it hasnt been raining hardly at all or wtf .
