I think there is something wrong with my Z
 

When I step on the gas at about 3k rpm it starts to swoooosh all the way to redline, then when I go to shift it goes

No, it is not normal and you should drop it off at my garage so I can test drive it and pinpoint the issue for you. No charge.

No something is totally F-ed with your z. I'll do you a HUGE favor i'll trade you my z for yours, that's just the type of guy I am. :tiphat:

I dont know, I wouldnt feel safe allowing someone else to drive it. maybe i should take it to the dealer.

I think it's normal. I have the same sounds coming from mine.

If you released the gas pedal,it still goes to redline,then something is wrong,send it back to a dealer before someone get killed.

I have the same problem. We should find a stretch of highway in Mexico to do side by side testing.
