Decision close, which to choose?
I have a Nissan 370z base coupe, 2010 with 42k miles. A nearby dealer has a new 2014 Base for about $29.8k and a 2010 touring model with 25k miles for $26.5k.
Which one would you trade for. A new 2014 base couple or the 2010 tourist. With one you gain a lot of miles but with the other you get leather, brembo brakes, spoiler, etc. |

Why would anyone change to another Z? Wait til the new shape comes up or try some new pastures green. I feel a Mustang gt in your horizon. LOL.
|
I guess my question would be why would you trade your car in for basically the same car again? Want Brembos? BUY THEM lol.
Unless you would be getting a newer better car AND lowering your payment, then by all means, go for it. If not, i wouldnt do it. Wait for a body change |

To me, the exclusivity is important. The ration of Mustangs to 370Z is like 100:1. |

Get the one that you'll be happy with for at least a year.

guys, you have to remember this is the idiot that wants to trade in his car just to get a factory warranty and swap all the parts and resell as a different model. same idiot, slightly stupider questions every time he creates a new thread

Zee babas
Lots of know-it-alls here. Please remember, as my old Mother use to say, "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all".
I see lots of guys on here that seem to be ready to jump on someone. Hiding behind their user names , and criticizing others. Really sad. |

Give me a break, "mixed up the newbs" What are you, a more established Z owner? This isn't a frat where you have to haze the pledges.:shakes head: |
Why all the hate for Mustangs? For $25k a base model GT will rape our Z's nine ways to Sunday in a straight line and a Boss 302 (admittedly more $$) will kick our *** around a track all day long...
Say what you want about Mustangs, but it all seems like sour grapes to me. Oh, and back when I had a Mustang and frequented those forums the owners seemed to know a lot about modding their cars; cold air, tuners, nitrous, heads, cams, exhaust, line lock, coil-overs, Vortech kits, etc. Here it seems like for every legitimate build I see 80 people doing body kits, stereo components, and crap like that. Don't get me wrong, the Z is a great sports car. But credit where it's due, the Coyote 5.0 is hard to beat |
Would you believe that more 911's sold this year compared to Z.

I get being proud of what you drive, but people still need to be at least somewhat logical about it. |

There are always going to be cars that are better in one category or another. In one ranking, Miata is the best sports car, the FRS comes second, the Mustang is in 4th place and the 370z is in fifth. So what? Sure the 911 sold more and that is because the Middle Class is shrinking, the rich go for European cars, the Middle Class is moving towards Cars under $30k. |

Gotta say, if you want a better Z package you can just upgrade those parts (to OEM parts, even!). Not sure there is a NEED to spend money on a new one.
