yah, i remember early on thinking my Z is about 300lbs lighter than my G35C which is like 3500lbs+ with 50 more crank hp and aggressive gearing which all added up to :yum:

Lbs is a unit of weight not mass, which means that the weight of your car will change (albeit not alot) depending how far you are away from the equator. The Slug is the imperial unit of mass much like our kg up here.

That tidbit unfortunately costed me about 10K in tuition costs to discover. lol

I feel for you. My wife just got a BS in nursing here in FL, approx 60K......of course she'll pay that back in 1.5 years starting out at 45 but geez. College cost sure has increased lately. Thank God it's not a liberal arts degree. But she doesn't weigh 600 lbs so I guess I'm contributing to hijacking the thread.
