Negative camber for a street car is hella gay. I've only ever seen it on POS Civics from the 90s and various other crap that's barely even worth mentioning.

Because, race car.

I'm pretty sure about 95% of cars on the streets have negative camber.

I used to criticize or judge but have learned to let them be. I no longer waste my energy on execution I don't necessarily agree with. They have reasons that others may never understand. Diverse taste = diverse execution amounts to a variety of cars that every enthusiast can appreciate. If you don't like it, press next.

I can certainly see the appeal on hellaflush cars; especially the ones done right. That is, the wheels and tires are actually flushed with the fenders--not poking out with a ridiculous amount of negative camber. Controlled negative camber in the front actually provides more grip during corner exits as the wheels tend to "straighten" during cornering, but I'm pretty sure the hellaflush crowd don't really care about that nonsense :ugh2:.

I'm convinced that state inspection laws will soon be modified to exclude this severe negative camber, as well as tire stretching, citing it as unsafe. Just my opinion.

Footloose301 07-31-2014 04:46 AM

Stretching a tire to fit a wheel is dumb. Its dangerous to everyone on the road as well as themselves. Not to mention running all that negative camber kills tires, but I know this is the part that some to them like to brag about. Bragging about killing new tires with massive camber is like being the smartest kid with down syndrome.

I associate these kids with the people that sag their pants. Both display that you're homo looking to get @ss-fvcked.

I am unsure about the accuracy of your observations. I have many gay friends, both men and women. and every one of their vehicles' camber appears in spec.

Here's a tip. Anyone who seriously employs the phrase "hella gay" or even "hella" (unless referring to the company that makes lights, horns, etc.) instantly reveals that person's level of intelligence.

totally agree. why anyone would do this to a sports car is beyond me. but hey, they want their car to ride like crap, scrape over the smallest of bumps, only drive on flat surfaces, etc it's on them. gives me something to laugh at. especially that park bench stuck on the back
