Possible to rent a 370z in NY?

I've got an old friend visiting me for 2 weeks all the way from Russia in the middle of September. I'm flying to New York to meet her, and then we'll drive back to my home state of Missouri by car. I was hoping to rent a 370z for this occasion, but not sure if this is even possible or where/who would have one available for this little road trip.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Btw I owned a black 2009 370z sport+touring+nav from 2010 to 2012 and have some regrets selling it. I may get one again in black cherry, but probably not in time for this trip.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I've never seen anywhere rent a 370Z.

Good luck!

You can rent a Lambo, GTR, AMG, 760i, GT3, what else....? Right at my local airport, lol. The Lambo is $1200/day, GTR is $600, oh a Carrera S is $400.

da mayor 07-24-2014 12:16 PM

hertz.com rents out exotics and luxury vehicles. but no 370z

cigarclifford 07-24-2014 12:39 PM

I rented a GT R for a day here in Silicon Valley...The best money ever
spent on any car in my lifetime as of to date... The tires were still
smoken and hot when I returned the GT R..... What a time.....

Rent Nissan 370Z Roadster in USA - CA, NV, FL, NY, Miami, L.A, Vagas. They rent 370z converts out of JFK, but as far as mileage etc you will have to look into.

Yea baby.... it's the deep pockets way

Starting at $600.00 per day. Rental Includes 75 miles per day, $3.00 per mile thereafter.

So, she is coming from Russia. Staying for how long? How many bags? How big? Not sure what a Z would look like with a luggage carrier on the roof. Might impact its drag coefficient a bit. I'd get an M3 instead.

Greeting's Jpkirk, I daily drive my 2010 PW Nismo.. At about 66,000 miles
added a brand new 2013 Silver Nismo at zero miles... I buy sports cars
to drive them... I rented the GT R to experience a once in a lifetime event..
If I bought a GT R within the first year the mileage would be 20,000 miles..

I wonder if they have this in the DC area. I would find it a great way to get my jollies in a car I can't really afford. I'm just thinking the OP, limited to 75 miles a day $3.00 for every additional mile, would have a smokin' bill at the end of the ride to Missouri from NY. And then how to get it back to NY.

But it would be great fun.

Give it a once in a lifetime try... Your time and memory are priceless...

In this case, it's more about the specific sentimental value of the 370Z between us than it is about a supercar experience, so I'd sooner take a generic rental if I can't find the right one.

Btw, thank you for the suggestion of RelayRides - nice concept, but unfortunately it does not look like any Z selection to speak of in the area near JFK airport, which I found a bit odd. Only one guy's car came up within 100 miles, which was unsuitable. The other problem with RelayRides is that they assume you'll be returning the car to the same location - that won't work in this case since I'll need to return the car in St Louis (unless I keep it long enough for the entire 2 week period, but that would get pricey). That is why I first looked at all the usual suspects of Hertz, Enterprise, etc.

So today I went to Lou Fusz in St Louis asking about car rentals since someone had mentioned that some dealerships can rent and deal with other dealerships possibly similar to how places like Enterprise work. They looked at me strangely and said they'd help, but I really doubt I'll get a callback on that.
