White or Black Base coup?

There is both, a black and a white base coup, both 2014. Which color is better? Which one do you prefer?

I picked a black 2010 and at that time, Blcak seemed more attractive but now that I have a black one, the white on the 2014 looks good.

Having owned a black car before, I am never going to own a black car again  White is way easier to keep clean.

shaun66 07-01-2014 01:46 PM

I like my black car for the 30 minutes its spotless after a wash. Its a love hate kinda thing after that.

Fountainhead 07-01-2014 01:46 PM

I've had a black car before, and agree that swirls and dirt show up so easily. Also had a white car. I guess I'd choose white, but some say white cars are more feminine....I'd choose white anyway. Pearl White that is.

KMO-II 07-01-2014 01:47 PM

ive owned a 2013 370z NISMO and now a 2014 379Z NISMO, both Pearl white. So easy to keep clean, and looks clean when a lil dirty. My wife has a black C300 Benz, that car gets dirty after i wash it and put it in the garage. Too much work keeping a black car clean in my opinion.

KMO-II 07-01-2014 01:48 PM

oops 2014 370z...lol

njobe89 07-01-2014 01:58 PM

Black !!!

jdsto 07-01-2014 03:44 PM

black looks great when its clean. Unfortunately its never clean. Ive owned both black and white cars and would take white over black.

zefaulter 07-01-2014 03:48 PM

White just because it's easier to keep it looking clean. Black looks nicer though

Masterbeatty 07-01-2014 04:46 PM

I love black. Even when not clean it's a great looking 50ft car. Looks great when dirty from afar, but only looks good up lose when clean.

madmike23 07-01-2014 04:49 PM

White.

Davey 07-01-2014 04:51 PM

You have to learn to love the swirls and dirt on black. Mad Max's police interceptor was black, do you think he gave a crap about a few swirls and dirt? I don't.

Tazicon 07-01-2014 05:25 PM

White unless you are a gluton for punishment or don't care how you car looks

falconfixer 07-01-2014 06:03 PM

Black, unless you carry a purse.

37zeroZ 07-01-2014 08:57 PM

I'm too afraid to pick white over black because I might be called a racist. :stirthepot:

aszyd 07-01-2014 09:31 PM

Pearl white! It's a beautiful color.

:iagree: + if any mild paint damage occurs, its less visible

grandpawmoses 07-02-2014 07:20 AM

I've owned a black Z4 before and when it's clean, nothing looks better. I mean you had to carry a stick to beat the ho's off at Walmart. Unfortunately I could spend an hour washing and drying it and an hour later you could see dust and pollen on it.

mab864 07-02-2014 07:34 AM

Black's too hard to keep clean. If it was just plain white then I'd say get black, but Pearl White is an awesome color. I'd do the Pearl White.

njobe89 07-02-2014 08:09 AM

i'd do silver :D

paratrooper 07-02-2014 10:18 AM

Black is great.. it really sets of the hue of the dust that gathers on my car moments after washing which is only topped by the single gnat that parks its rear on the bumper after a 1 mile trip to the gas station.

I still picked black lol

TexasChuck 07-02-2014 01:20 PM

Cooler

Pearl white is cooler (temp) . Black absorbs and holds heat much more.

Zteve 07-02-2014 01:23 PM

neither one go with the gunmetal gray. even when dirty it still looks clean

kenchan 07-02-2014 01:24 PM

the first 370z i saw on the streets that i fell in luv with was white.

color i bought was silver. why? cause the dealer didnt have white in the spec i wanted,
and considering the wheel and door handles, silver looked more fluid to me out of
the other choices dealer had: black, gunmetallic (?), red.

axmea? 07-02-2014 01:45 PM

I've had both colors. Both require the same degree of maintenance to make look great all the time. The difference is once hard water, dirt, and swirls work it's way to the paint, be ready to accept that it will be more visible on black.
