Throttle pedal problem
Hi guys new to this forum but own my 09 Z for 3 years now and since i put it back on the road after winter storage i notice sometimes when i lift off my foot from throttle to turn in at around 80-90 km/h it seems like the car still input some throttle....and i check the floor mat..just to be sure..still at the right place..
anyone encountered this issue 09 Premium/Sport only mod is KW V3 52xxx km/h (32xxx miles ) nedd an oil change next week will get it check at nissan dealer Thanks, |
It may just be stiff from sitting so long. Have you tried "exercising" the pedal? With the ignition off, pump the pedal through its full travel about a dozen times.

i think it's just burning off the last of the fuel for emissions reasons depending on your throttle input and angle.
does this on my other car too. |
thanks for the reply, i dont think it's mechanical related (pedal behavior) it feels more like the ECU for some reasons only him knows...compensate or corrects an issue by a little blip of throttle...throttle mapping
The idea it is burning remaning fuel is pretty much what i tought because more i think more it's doin it when fueled with 94 octane, i'll run some diagnostic this week and post my notes and results. |
srm?

I too have an 09, and I don't have that issue. But I don't "turn in" to anywhere going 80-90 kmh.

I had this issue especially if the road wasn't 100% flat... Then I got a new diff. No more issues
