Squeaky noise from steering wheek
 

My Lil man is sick...when I turn the steering wheel to the left or right I get this really noisy squeaky sound. Any idea what it is? I will take it to nissan monday but trying to figure out of I should park it over the weekend. Thanks for the thoughts. ..:hello:

My first guess is that something inside the steering column has moved and is scraping against the shaft. If you can't feel it in the wheel, I wouldn't be too concerned about driving the car over the weekend but I would keep a close eye/ear on things and shut him down if I noticed things getting worse.

Thanks southark...i caught the stealer ship just before closing. I'm taking him in at 7:30 tomorrow morning. Will probably have to leave it till next week, thank goodness for my beater. Stay tuned!

According to the tech I need a new ball joint from spc. Simple enough...will find my receipt because I can't remember who I ordered the front control arms from. Thanks guys! Will order monday and hope it is the fix.
