The weather here in Central FL was pretty darn nice today. Tonight I drove home with the windows for the first time in a while, and definitely the first time with the exhaust and intake on the car. Man, WOT sounds intoxicating, especially along side the barrier walls on the parkway. You get the growl from the exhaust and the snarl from the intake. I can't wait until I get those darn ART pipes installed.

Nissan corporate came through :woot:

All airbag components are being covered by Nissan under good will coverage. Regional supervisor called me to tell me the claim was approved and that he had already contacted my service rep at the dealer to let him know it was approved. Talk about service

No paint on the bumpers yet.

Apparently the 2014 washer fluid bottle is larger and the DRL's would not fit. Luckily a 2009 Z was in the shop getting a Stillen bumper put on, and it turns out the the 2009 bottle is smaller. Shop had to order a 2009 washer bottle neck from Nissan to fit the 2009 bottle.

He did not want to paint the bumpers while trying to fit the bottle, so teh paint did not get scratched.

Two weeks later, looks like we are back on track.

Nothing out-of-the-ordinary on the Z, but I did change my avatar for the first time in four years. So I got that goin' for me.

:wtf: why would they make it larger? :icon14:

My 2011 reservoir holds an entire gallon of the washer fluid. I just refilled it literally for the first time this summer (5 yrs 3 mos since purchase).

Spoke with Fast Intentions and my non-resonated CF exhaust is just finishing up fabrication. It will be ready to ship out by the end of the week

Beats me. Maybe because of the different shape on the 13+ bumper they figured they could fit a larger bottle, or it's a Canadian thing (regulations on fluid volume). That other Z could have been bought out of US. Beats me.
