Sweet. I've been looking at doing that as a quick and not expensive mod. How does the stock start button come out? Is it really that easy?

In other news I covered up Z again for the forcasted snow tonight. Then tomorrow it should be fine again...man am I ever tired of this March weather.

But I have been able to get thru winter just with a good cover and driving it in between all the storms, wash all the time to get salt off, and I did treat my underbody with 3M rust proof/sound deadener spray...

6 months of ownership, 11500k miles, oil change coming up (every 3k), bought with 6 miles = :driving:

Tested my new Ventus V12 EVO2 on freeway where it was pretty empty.

I found out that it slips often after 6,000 RPM.

Yep, thats to be expected with that tread pattern and tire quality. I can buy a set for under 400 bucks.. My stock Bridgestones slip often after 6000 rpm lol..

I bet those hankook will slip much, much more.

For some reason my shop was having trouble getting RBF 600? Wtf?

anyways found and sourced it... picking up a bottle for the csc/msc swap. I did notice the brake fluid was a bit lower. I'll ask them to top it up with the remainder.

tune deposit has also been confirmed! the tuner mentioned 2.5 hours give or take on average and explained it's a bit longer than uprev due to more customizability. weee!

I don't know. But for me it seemed to happen regardless of its temperature.

Before you top off, replace the pads. If you top off and then replace pads, the excess has to go somewhere. Better to have new pads, then replace the brake fluid by flushing out through the bleed ports. :twocents:

Lol I've seen that one before. Its nice, but I think it fits a Nismo interior better and I prefer the GTR button.

Plus i'll save the extra 100 bucks in cost

I've got the base interior and it looks pretty cool to me. I had a GTR button I just gave away on the freebies thread a couple of months ago, to someone I've not seen hide nor hair of since...

Should've given it away to me. I'd give away something too like a Stillen oil cap or similar. Thats how I do, for your future reference lol...

So you think the FI button looks way better? What about some of the aftermarket ones that are just red/blue led? Opinions?

rotor/pads were replaced last year. it's a smidgen below the max kinda like where it was pre-replacement. probably had some air in the lines :shakes head:

I haven't seen any of the aftermarket ones, so I wouldn't have an opinion. I got the FI one primarily because the car is going to them early next year for TT , clutch and exhaust. :excited:

That makes sense, might as well get all FI stuff and complete the package.

Congrats! I'm excited for you!! Wish I had more money for my N/A build right now... oh well the future is bright, long live the Z!
