Steel wool and Dcon for mice. The storage place also has a monthly pest inspector come in. The guy has a few million in cars and the owners had less protection than me. So I'm not to worried.

Pulled all the lining out of the trunk and stuck 15 square feet of ac vent wrap (aka cheap sound deadener) all over the flat metal panels. I had to dig down there anyway because my, not yet installed, rear view camera was sliding back and forth down there on corners (I have the homelink back up camera but the new one is 170 degrees to help with looking side to side.
I also installed hella horns but was stumped by just having one stock horn; now I see the second is in the left front wheel well so I get to do that all over again....

Unrelated but it entertains me...

Went for a spin last night with the SRM off and practice the heel toe-ing. Got a lot better... found it's easier to over-rev and slip into gear than under rev and stutter and cringe for my poor clutch/tranny.

just wondering... i found that as i started driving it was a lot easier to downshifting to 2nd without being locked out compared to when the SRM was on and cold tranny. I've also tried the double-clutching with SRM on/off and it's the same.

also found that the revs dropped more quickly... (possibly because of the slight blip it does when you're shifting? maybe?)

anyone have any insight?

I notice the revs fall faster without SRM as well. Makes sense since the ECU is no longer trying to hold it while you're on the clutch.

My Z is in storage already. What revs?

R35 GT-R Part 25151-JF00A

I installed the GT-R engine start/stop button. I personally like the candy apple red finish as opposed to the stock button. It actually blends in better with the interior and is more appealing. I'm surprised the 370Zs did not come with this to start with.
