Pulled the wheel and everything looked good. Humm, then something caught my eye. A broken bolt laying in the undertray right by the power steering. This is what I fished out. I suspect it is a broken demon bolt from when I had a shop remove the OEM cats. Odd thing, I tried to fish it out with my magnet and it isn't magnetic. It believe it is 10mm. Any idea where this may have come from if it wasn't a demon bolt? If so, it's been hiding in the engine bay for a few months. Car feels fine, no shimmy, vibration or pull. I guess hitting the pot hole shock it loose from where it was hiding?

I dug out my cats and found a perfect match for the other part of the bolt. It's not magnetic either. Mystery solved.

Glad you found the source of the noise and could account for the bolt. That would have irritated me, for sure.

Drove around town and looked at myself in the mirror.

Drove it to work, finally!

Going to go home and wash my Zero today also. Then, if I have time, will return to my shop's parking lot to snap a couple photos for our first Coachella Valley Z team meet that's coming up in a few weeks. I bought a new camera lens so, this will be fun.

Took some pictures of my Z yesterday to test out my Nexus 6 and see how it does. Comments from people on the internet are ridiculous. One guy accused me of cutting people on a road I don't drive on to get to work.

I just detailed mine after a road trip to Vegas! Finally really got to know the car after buying it a couple of months ago.

This cars cruising speed is 90! It just don't like going slower than that! One thing I learned on the trip, cruise control won't let you set it above 90, I tried. :driving:

I also really love that timer function, that's pretty fun to see how much drive time you have vs how long it actually takes to get some where.

Somebody a few posts back asked me to report back on Vegas. You should check out "O" at the Ballagio. Really wild show. There's a bar in the Eifel tower that's pretty awesome too. Make sure you go to Vegas well dressed, 90% of the women are Super Models!

AutoX level 1 school at FedEx field, Washington DC. Large course, the Z drifts nicely, many runs, the Z drifts nicely, ridealongs with instructors, the Z drifts nicely.

Yup, had a good time. VDC off is very fun. the Z drifts nicely. Gnarly sunburn is only downside. Shoulda taken sunscreen.

Did I mention the Z drifts nicely? :driving:

I washed and detailed the interior today. I usually just vacu,e and wipe down the interior but i tried to make the Z an SUV by transporting two big buckets of dirt
t and rock. Let's say the foam in the trunk area doesn't like 50 lbs buckets on top and when I hit the breaks at a stop light I was then sitting underneath a bucket of dirt. Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh. But it looks like brand new now after 2 hrs of vacuuming and taking sh!t apart.

After completing Junkmans video of claying, compounding and polishing the last few weeks, yesterday I sealed the paint with Hi Temps Terminator and the car is sitting curing for 36 hours.
