Picked up 2 new Bridgestone S04's for the rear today. Having them replaced tomorrow. Had to do it, Cords showing. LOL You don't get any money back for any unused rubber. Can't complain, they made it to 27,800 miles.

Next Tuesday 11/11/14 = 1 year of Z ownership. Guessing I'll have around 8700 miles on the ODO. I need to reduce mileage by about 1200 so I can claim pleasure car and reduce insurance.

That's not good. Debris or just plain mistake? Sorry that this happened.

I decided to put my front plates up after over two years and 43k miles. Not worth the hassle of dealing with a fix it or even worse attracting attention that would lead to more scrutiny. Was stopped and got a pass twice last week for not having plates. One officer got out of his way to follow and stop mid traffic and asked about my front plates. I know I pissed him off by giving him some lame story that someone attempted to steal my plates and bracket. His response was "really? someone stealing your bracket? you think I was born yesterday or something?" He was stopped on the passenger side temporarily blocking others behind him and I was waiting for the left arrow light to turn green so could make a left. He did not have the appetite to follow me onto the LA freeway abyss that was packed solid. Had it not been for the traffic, he would have stopped me on the on ramp and given me a fix it. I know he was doing his job so I had no issues with him. In the end, I just put it on and dealt with the ugliness.

Yes sir. Then again, I also have a Nismo version that is much better than the the stock ones we got. Still have to drill holes though so I'm holding out on that one.

I was having a bad day and was being careless... hit a curb while trying to park... will never happen again

Spooler 11-04-2014 06:22 PM

Well, got the new skins on today. I have more grip that is for sure. S04's are not too bad. I did have an alignment done. I had a toe issue on the left rear that caused a little more wear on the inside of the tire, hence cord showing. I could have got a couple thousand more miles out of them if it wasn't for that. LOL
