Sunday afternoon drive with my son. Hit White Ferry into VA and then back across to Frederick. Hit a parking lot to give Pete another go at the clutch. He needs practice. More to come on that front.

Did you actually rotate your tires. Those look like directional tires to me.

Just wondering.

Sure did, side to side- not directional/ just outside and inside mount.

So those tires are asymmetric but non-directional? You should be fine then  :driving:

I can only assume the OP knows his tires. I learned something new today. Very cool.

Asymmetric tires will say inside/outside on the sidewalls. Directional tires will have an arrow on the sidewalls indicating the correct rotation direction.

kenchan 06-29-2015 11:48 AM

i dont rotate my tires. the benefit is minuscule on these cars and less performance during the re-break in.

for me yesterday, motored my Z, qd'ed afterwards. it was a nice drive, no rocks flying at my car so dat was good. :D :ugh:

On a 2 lane highway, I got behind a work truck with a bunch of rakes and shovels so I wasn’t going to take any chances. I got in the left lane and proceeded to leave him in the dust and then decided, well, it’s been a while so let’s open her up. I noticed there was a whole line of cars ahead of him. When I got to 95 I looked in the rear view mirror only to see a cop in the distance. So I slowed down as he kept getting closer. I wanted to pull into the right lane but no opening. When he got closer a car pulled into the left lane in front of him that slowed him down. I sped up thinking I’ll get ahead of the line. Finally the cop flashed his lights so that guy pulled back into line. The cop picked up speed and was getting closer when another car pulled out in front of him. I’m not making this up. I was able to get to the front of the line and pulled off the next exit without any confrontation. Overall, a good day.:ughdance:

You should have driven somewhere and bought a lottery ticket. One would have been sufficient :D

Really a meter?

Wait is this on topic ... :rofl2:

Drove the Z to work yesterday, then Pete and I went to pick up laundry, fill the tank, and then stopped at Rita's to pick up ice cold treats. :yum:

Today "Zillah" rests in the garage.
