Both 12v socket no power. Help

I plugged in my air pump into the center console socket (it turned on for 5 seconds then died) and now both power sockets (center console and passenger) don't work anymore. Any ideas about how to fix it??

Thanks

Pretty much this.

Anyone knows which fuse? How'd I locate it?

I am at work so I can't spend a lot of time searching but a quick search on google brought this up.

Thats located on the driver side kick panel.

maybe it didn't blow but just kicked out... if it's that, then you can push that white looking clip when you open the driver side kick panel in. it's sort of located in the middle.

You need a voltmeter and either the Owner's Manual or the FSM. You can buy a cheap VOM at most auto parts stores, hardware stores, Wal-Mart, &c. If you don't have an OM/FSM, you can download one.

Turn the car on and check for voltage at the socket. If no voltage, look up fuse location in OM/FSM and replace. If you have volts at the socket, check the device(s) you are plugging in. My bet is on the fuse.

I stopped by my dealership and a tech just changed out the fuse for FREE!! But I didn't go through the service advisor or else I am pretty sure they would charge me.

Now the weird part: whenever I unlock the door, with the button on the door handle, it would now beep lightly. It even beeps when I lock it. Thoughts?

The mechanic probably disconnected the battery and it reset back to the default setting. IIRC, you can turn off via the multi-display. Check Owner's Manual for details.
