Aftermarket Warranty -- What's the best one to get?

I'm shopping for a used 370Z.
I would like to get a 100,000 mile warranty added to it, especially if I go with a 2009/2010 that doesn't have any factory warranty left.

Did anyone here get an aftermarket warranty?
Any advice or recommendations?

the dealer should have extended warranty available, get the highest level one.

also, instead of asking them "what is covered?"

ask them "what is NOT covered?"

Should I get a Warranty -- How many issues have you had?

Dude, you started the above thread awhile back, had 3 pages of responses and never replied to anyone after your initial post. :shakes head:

I'd take kenchan's advice.

You would be better off to save your money and handle a repair when it comes up.

That's my 2 cents...

I will avoid aftermarket warranty especially if you are planning to have the repairs done in the dealer. I have aftermarket warranty after the factory extended warranty on my DD. With the factory extended warranty, communication between the service manager and the warranty department was much smoother and they get things done quicker. Most of the time, I don't even need to get involved. With the aftermarket warranty, it is much harder to get things done and I have to make multiple trips to the severice department because the aftermarket warranty people only turn on their voice message machine from 9 to 5 during the weekdays and they rarely return phone calls. Not that they don't pay for the repair listed on the contract. They just make sure it is a frustrating process for you and the service department to go through so you will think twice the next time you call.
