My life ruined

I picked up my 2014 370z two weeks ago. Ever since then all I want to do is drive around and listen to music. i find myself taking the long long long way everywhere. I work 5 days a week 6 miles from home and I have managed to put 1400 miles on my car.. Haven't gone further than 30 miles from home.. Does this feeling of constant late night cruising ever fade? Anybody else feel this way? Jokes aside, I love my z. <3

i had that feeling the first few months of owning my z.. after filling up my tank 3 times a week i had stop cruising ... my credit card bill was hurting a lot.

DEpointfive0 06-01-2014 02:11 AM

It happens

axmea? 06-01-2014 02:32 AM

I wonder what it feels to work 6 mi from home. I'd eat lunch and watch tv everyday.
BTW, it is a fun car. Enjoy your Z.

I live 8 miles from work, a tad too far to come home and eat or do anything really

Magic Bus 06-01-2014 02:48 AM

I live 3 1/2 miles from work and rarely ever come home to eat. But sometimes get in my car and drive 5-8 miles the other way for lunch :icon17:

No worries OP, the Z's a fun car to drive, so please enjoy

When i got my Z i used to drive 80 miles from my house to valdosta just to fill up gas every weekend. Sometimes i wake up around 530am on a Sunday just drive and see the sunrise while at I-75!

I even have more pictures of my Z on my iphone than any girls i dated!
Now tell me if that is out of the norm?
I even named my car JLo damn that *** so big can stop looking.

Zoren 370 06-01-2014 07:53 AM

Btw wait till the people here including me baptize you in the world of modding then your life would be certainly ruined! Haha

madwi 06-01-2014 08:18 AM

You scared me OP, I thought you were going to say you turned off VDC and the car blew up mysteriously!

tnav 06-01-2014 08:30 AM

You only live one, enjoy every second of it!

PS-look at taking it to the track one day

kenchan 06-01-2014 11:17 AM

How can you say that? Maybe we all have mental illness and ... wait ... no ... probably the other way round. Everybody else has mental illness, Z owners are normal.

Does that sound about right?

I've been saying I'll take my Z to the track one day, ever since I bought it in 09 - still haven't done it. :rofl2::rofl2:

Any good tracks near Toronto?

b15 06-01-2014 10:45 PM

It's normal. I've already put on 1500miles since I took my Z out of storage a little over two months ago. I only drive it on weekends when I'm home so thats about 200 miles per weekend. Not really sure where I go....I just have fun getting there :D

BigT 06-02-2014 11:53 AM

I live .9 miles from work. I had to buy a beater so I wouldnt ruin the Z with so little driving.

My Z will never see the light of day in that case! I'd bike to work then beater for winter :icon14:

Driftomodachi 06-02-2014 01:38 PM

I just drove the canyons last night. My z32tt buddy was itching to test out his new powertrix coilovers =)

njobe89 06-03-2014 08:16 AM

1400 miles isn't bad... i bought my z about 3-4 weeks ago and have over 3,000 miles on it :D ... it's always fun to drive a new car you buy

Zerocool 06-03-2014 10:30 AM

is it still ruined or did you move on with life?

Limeybastard 06-03-2014 10:53 AM

I dont even drive to work and I put on 2500 miles just for the sake of driving since April 17th when I bought the car.

brandonb370 06-03-2014 01:07 PM

I live 35 miles from work and the only complaint I have is the traffic, other than that driving the Z never gets old!

Dwight Frye 06-03-2014 06:43 PM

I thought the OP was going to say he got married

It "should" wear off. Milk it for all it's worth. I put about 12000 miles on mine in 3 years of ownership. Every time I see one, I smile. I saw one yesterday!

You can always earn more $$ to pay for gas and the like. But when you're old and retired, you can say..."I drove it and drove it!".

Have fun!
