little poll who wishes they made the z a targa
im just bored and was thinking today. I know ill prob get a lot of crap for this but i am not a fan at all of the convertible Z, i personally think its ugly and do not like the way it looks at all with the top down. That being said though i love the roof lines on my coupe its just soo sexy, but i think a targa top would have been awesome to have. does any one agree or do you think im just crazy

When my wife and I were looking at the verts she summed it up... "fvck no, that *** end looks like a Sebring."
I could rock a targa top  |
There is someone here that has a yellow one that I think Z1 did.
There is a video on youtube of it. |
I wouldn't call the vert ugly but I would love to be able to remove the hard top and store it in the hatch.

Jwillis i just looked it up wish they would have done a walkaround but i love the way it looks

I love convertibles in general, but the lines on a vert Z just don't look right. I think maybe the azz end sits too high or something. The coupe roof looks a bit more streamline.
I'd like to see what a targa top would look like on a Z. Hopefully it looks better than the 911 targa. I'm not a fan of that either. God I'm picky! ~ lol :driving: |

Why isn't there a T-top option?

I would love to be able to pop the top and put it in the hatch. That would be awesome!!! But not really a fan of the verts. They look great with the top down, but not so good with the top up.

smokey?
|
And you guys thought squeaks and rattles were bad enough now! :p
|
My 300ZX had a t-top. No idea when they were introduced or when Nissan got away from them. And obviously too lazy to search :D

my friend who used to have a MR2 targa has very bad experience with leaking when it's raining. Also, I believe a vert is much more convenience because you can put the top down without leaving the car while a targa you have to get out and take off the two piece manually.... and the leaking problem.... :wtf2::wtf2: |

We can't have hats or mustaches like these in our cars:

My 300 has T-tops. Most companies stopped making them because of the leaking issues they have as they get older and the seals wear out, as the ones in my 300 have. Hell, I see modern cars with moon roofs have leaks when it rains. I personally think that it's just not worth dealing with the extra maintenance just to have the wind blow through your hair.

Couldn't vote. No option #3. No, I prefer a fixed roof car.
And I live in Hawaii  |
