I think the Nismo Brand is becoming more involved with the Nissan cars. Why not spice it up a bit more vs the competition?

Oh man I, got really excited thinking they were going to unveil the new platform. We will just have to wait and see how special this Nismo is.

I'm leaning towards this having:

the same sort of nismo package/body scheme as the nismo sentra,juke and GTR
a 7 speed automatic option
Upgraded interior
New wheels
No change in performance

I hope they keep the 6 speed as an option. You never know !

I wonder if it's worth trading in...

Wheels and smoothly integrated lip/fin...VERY NICE

It needs the 2014 rear spoiler, still very nice though!

The notable changes include:

The face is more more GT-R inspired, with the way the chin and splitters are set up, the horizontal LED runner lights, and the trapezoidal mouth. In the rear, the boot now has much bigger C-vents on each side, the exhaust is more sucked up into the bumper, and the wing is no longer a gigantic monstrosity, it's a smoothly integrated lip/fin.
You now have a choice in transmissions, between a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed auto.
The four-wheel independent suspension has been retuned. and there are newly designed Recaro seats.
The redesigned forged aluminum-alloy 19-inch wheels by RAYS are new.
A new Nismo tech model is available, which has which adds a 7-inch touchscreen nav system, a rearview monitor, and Bose stereo.
Not new is its 350hp 3.7L DOHC V6 that'll give you 276 lb-ft of torque. You can pick between Solid Red, Magnetic Black, Brilliant Silver and Pearl White.

Not liking the small wing, doesn't match the aggressive body.

I'm disappointed they got rid of the spoiler, but it looks pretty cool. I wonder if this is just a 1 year Nismo 370 change and then for 2016 they move to a different Z maybe?

IMO, the aero took a step backwards -- not liking it.

What about the fender trim, did they just get them from J-next or what?

Nissan you had our attention, only to let us down.

They are milking this model for as long as they can and they wonder why their sales are going down.

I enjoy the previous Nismo. This new one still says you are better off with base 370Z + Sport. No way is this a more inspirational model. The front vs rear proportions are way out of spec. Better seats and its nice up until you pass the rear quarter panels. No thanks.

I like the front bumper, everything else is let down... hopefully the interior is much nicer. But to each his own !
