Incorporating Formula 1 Technology into Nismo
 

Appears as if Nismo Japan will be collaborating with Williams Engineering of Formula 1 for 2014 Products of Nismo.

Dateline is 27 June 2013 .... would appear to be old news

I am ecstatic that this news is nearly a year old. It means that there has been enough incubation time for the relationship to yield some actual results.

I don't think they are talking about your regular off the shelf Nismo.
I would think it would only be for something like the Fairlady Z NISMO Z-Challenge Spec.

use the right formula. 1 sticker = 5whp. of course if it is a JDM stcker it is automatically doubled to 10whp

some new corolla-s that looks like a demented kia did a ricor flyby yesterday and he was faast with them jdm-yo stickers. lol

ive been following this story ( for obvious reasons) NISMO used Williams for help when designing and wind tunnel testing the aero parts for the GTR NISMO so that is one example of this partnership

another huge rumor is Williams is/was developing the hybrid tech for the new GTR. They make the flywheel hybrid tech for a bunch of racing programs and that technology could be used in the R36 as part of this partnership

however the one hitch in this rumor is Willimans Hybrid Power Limited was just sold to Getrag last month. that doesnt necessarily squash the rumor totally as Getrag makes the differentials for the GTR as an OEM so the dots could still be there to connect


but as far as I know the only thing to come out of this announcement so far is Williams playing a role in assisting NISMO with the aerodynamic testing of the GTR NISMO I dont know how this relates to any of the other NISMO line so far especially the Z

well they are stickers like the NISMO Z though so you win on that. you would think for 150K it would be painted on( like the NISMO LEAF concept) but its not.

but yeah on black they look epic like a red laser beam at the bottom
