Does the 370Z come with an actual key?

I recently picked up a 2012 370Z NISMO from Carmax, and they gave me just 2 of the key fob things. I know that there is no spot for an actual key in the car, but it looks like the driver's side door has a spot for one.

Should I have gotten something else when I bought the car?

There's a little switch on the fob that let's you pull out a key.

Wow, lol. I assumed that little switch was for a battery cover of some sort. Thanks for the quick response!

Also works on the glove box (only time I've ever used mine)

I was so confused at first too. My keyfob battery was dead and I was all like "HOW THE HELL DO I GET INTO MY CAR NOW?"

If you didn't get an Owner's Manual, you can download one here.

Not sure why, but I laughed hard when I read this. I think I also need to read mine!

Side note, is there a space to start the car with a key? ( Read the manual LOL )

No, but IIRC, if the fob is dead, you just put it in the fobgina to start the car.

Nope. That's what the fobgina is for.

As obsessive as you seem to be about your car, I'm surprised you don't have the OM memorized by now. ;)

I'm glad this was resolved so quickly. I was worried. :p

I just googled Fobgina HAHAH, as there is no reference to it inside the manual.
