Blue tooth steering wheel?

I was wondering if anyone knew how you can answer phone calls via blue tooth if you change out your steering wheel. I plan on changing out the whole wheel setup, but love the blue tooth... can you answer using the factory head unit?

you can answer and hangup on the phone without the button on the wheel, but wont your new wheel be missing the other functions also?

Yeah the steering wheel in the Z is a majorly integrated thing. Not sure of ALL that would or could go wrong there, but I know it's gonna piss your SRS(air bags) system off. That alone could cause you some major issues. Plus I THINK the Z monitors steering wheel angle.

best thing to do if you don't want to lose the steering wheel buttons is move them. My friend with a mitsu evo move his buttons underneath the aftermarket steering wheel. I'll see if i can find pics

yes, while being connected through bluetooth, you can answer your calls and and make calls through the phone. bluetooth will work through the speakers like it normally would. that means physicaly pushing your phone answer btn for the hands free call, just so there's no confusion. good luck!

LOL - I thought you wanted to drive you car with a blue tooth steering wheel from the title ;) I've been looking a steering wheels for my other car and everything I've seen isn't as nice as the wheel I've got in the 370Z - Nissan did a great job on this one!

Oh yea, you could move the buttons or even try integrating them into the new wheel....
