Top Speed /0 - 60 ... for your Z?

What's the top speed you have experienced "legally and safely" in your (370) Z"? (Not advocating illegal street racing or unrestricted "open road flights"...(basically, a sanctioned and supervised "track-day" question.) Also, what's your your best 0-60? The independent testers are citing about 4.6 sec with the AT. "0 -60.com" is a great site) Is the 7 speed AT faster than the 6 speed MT? I'm using a 2013 w/ K&N drop-ins and the aftermarket Nismo CBE. Love it! and it fits perfectly and pulls harder!! Using Lucas Octane boost and it definitely works. (California 91 is crap). Also using 7 SP AT + sport package and NAV / Bose package.

I can't find a 0-60.com. Perhaps you meant 0-60 Times | 0 to 60 MPH and Quarter Mile Times for Fast Sports Cars, Muscle Cars, Luxury Car Performance Stats & more! ?

0-60 who knows. Most of time its 0-45mph for me. Top speed 130-135mph area.

i think ive hit ~120 (not really concentrating on looking down at the speedo haha) on the front straight at buttonwillow and thats the fastest ive ever gone outside of an airplane

In Asia,we use 0-100km/h,so far i the fastest i clocked is about 5.2 secs,my car is Auto,with HKS Hi-Power exhaust & R-Suction intake,Uprev Remapped.

DjSquall 03-24-2014 07:04 AM

Sometimes it feels like I'm doing 0-100km/h in under 3 seconds lol. Realistically, it's probably close to 4.5 when I hook off the line. What I do know, is if I plant it off a red light, I'm doing speed limit by the time I get across the intersection. I can't wait to have my car out back together and a little warmer weather so I can finally take a weekend off and go to a track for some giggles

But I've taken my car to top speed on 3 occasions. She's quick to climb to 220km/h but it's very slow to climb afterwards.

Do you guys have tracks with straights long enough to max out your Z's?

lpsscc 03-24-2014 08:40 AM

My 40th will go all the way to the Rev/speed limiter. Guess that is 155 or something.

It's amazing how it just rolls right up there without any real effort. Does take a few seconds to get to that last 10-20 mph, but it will do it.

Yes, I had access to a controlled, safe environment for this testing. An unnamed government controlled facility specifically.

Kinda neat.
