Cooled seats are only in the convertible, I have not heard anything about a new red interior, the 2010 convertible has a wine leather which matches the black cherry color.

I waited 5 months on the purchase gathering info and test driving the competition when I realized its best to wait for 2010. Then last week Saturday ordered my 2010 370z.
I waited cuz it seems like there's a lot of complaints on the 09. (Though many are seemingly overexaggerated)
I figured with so many complaints, more than I ever seen in a nissan forum. Lol
The 2010 should be built with better attention to detail.
Especially since nissan originally spec'd 30k units then reduced to 10k units.
You can sell 20k or more units of a low cost sports car and it be profitable.
But 10k units for the amount of r&d done for this car is nothing.
I know that nissan will want to sell at minimum 20k units this year.
I would expect higher quality and durabilty on the parts this year though other sorts of changes are minimal. I would expect a lil more incentive toward the purchase of this car.
Not anything great but maybe an extra warranty and/or lower interest than the 6% on the 09.

Did the dealer give you an official delivery date and production number? What was MSRP?

Thanks

I jumped and got the 09 over the 2010 and I can tell you I couldn't be happier. I was worried from all the people on here screaming over this and that and when I got the car I realized it was for the majority alllll over exaggerations. I don't track my car... and I haven't gotten close to limp. I've been keeping an eye on my oil and it hasn't moved. And yes there is clutch clunk..boohoo. And ok.. people complain about the jerkiness of 1st to 2nd on the manual transmission. After you get used to it you can get it just as smooth as the others.

And btw a few days ago I posted some of the pages from the 2010 brochure(I got it at my dealership) So maybe people can go look for that and find any info they're looking for.

picking up my new 2009 today

You people on here may think I'm crazy, but I decided to get a new 2009 black 370Z Touring with AT and am picking it up today. Do you think it is really that worth it, at this point, to get a 2010 vs. a 2009? My out the door price is $33,350. I am also trading in my '05 Nissan Altima with V6 for $8k. I was pleased with that figure, because the good condition trade-in value is only like $800 higher than that.

If you don't care about it sitting on the lot or the depreciation compared to a 2010 then just enjoy the car.

qft

There is so little difference between the model years, and she's got it where it counts: looks and go.

It was very dirty when it came in from the dealer's lot it had been sitting on the past however many months, but my dealer cleaned it up and had it waxed and it looks so good now. I am very pleased with it after having only driven it for a 1/2 day now. I am also paying an extra $400 to have that Commodore protection put on it, especially since it is black. Has anyone else paid the extra $$ for that?

Idk what commodore protection is. But I wouldn't spend $400 on something that sounds like a product they put on at the dealership(unless its some sort of clear bra). Otherwise save the money and wax your car.

8K seems pretty low for an 05? I guess I don't really know.

I got 8200 for my 2000 Mustang GT when I sold it myself. The dealer wanted to offer 4k in trade.

it was totally worth it to me to wait and sell it myself.
