I was thinking the exact same approach...I would bet that any "trophy" shop (and there are probably a lot of other kinds of shops that could as well) could produce some sort of brass or aluminum, etc. cover...you could get creative...include your name, the vin, whatever.

:iagree: Definitely. I have a good friend and car enthusiast that owns a sign company, sometimes they fabricates in aluminum. I think I'll approach him about this, see if we can't come up with a nice looking fix here.

Frankly, I think a simple aluminum cover for the switches looks quite tacky.

I have the touring with heated seats and the middle slot is just a blank. What is that middle slot in other countries? Heated mirrors..?

More tacky than the three ugly plastic blanks?

I'm almost positive that the controls for the roof (in the convertible, obviously) are in the middle slot.

Cjanik 09-06-2009 10:23 AM

actually the middle slot was for the rear fog light?

Pushing_Tin 09-06-2009 12:51 PM

So for the 2010 model where will the heated mirror switch be?

Heated-mirrors aren't on a separate switch. They're always switched on with the rear-window defroster.

I have never seen anything but the switch for the convertible-top take the place of the middle blank, be it Japanese or European-market cars.

The fog light for those who have them is on the light stock where you turn your headlights on/off. I believe JoeD is correct, only the convertible has anything ever in the middle button.

# 1) Ejection Seat Switch to end the arguing.

# 2 ) Rear oil dispersive solution switch to take care of that pesky driver in your rear view mirror

# 3 ) Blow up blonde switch to fill the void from switch # 1 also backs up your need to use Express lanes in rush hour.

:)
