Feedback Wanted on installation of AMUSE!

Hey guys, I just bought my kit last week. Should be here in a few days. I have a friend that owns a small body shop. He says that he has installed a few Amuse kits.

However, Mine is a replica. And from what I hear you have to pre drill everything first (doesnt come drilled out) if that makes sense.

Anyone have any tips of anything that I would need to be aware of while installing this? I'll pass on all info to the installer.

Thank in advance

It's hard to tell what needs to be done, since it's a replica. I would assume quite a bit of adjusting and such.

Yeah i figured that. The shop can handle minor corrections on the kit. I wasnt sure if there were special screws or bolts that I should buy for them. Or anything I should purchase for them to install the kit easier.

Who made the kit? Mine is a Duraflex from Extreme Dimensions and I had to drill all the holes out etc. Kit fit very well though...

I keeping on hearing horror stories about duraflex. Im gad that yours fit well. Illk now tommorrow about fitment. Dropping the car off tonight for them to get started.

The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that they shipped me products that had small errors. Meaning, there were little nicks and some tiny scratches that would show through the paint if painted as is. Not enough for me to send back but a headache that has to be dealt with by the installer costing me more $$$$$$

lol, no kit is ready to paint as it is shipped! You will need some sanding and gelcoat removal before they can paint. Small nicks and imperfections will always be there in the rough mold so I am not surprised at all.

My car goes in on the 7th so you will be ahead of me by a bit...

Pics?
