While this look is not my cup o' tea for overall looks I had to say the rocketfish or whatever it is called over exaggerated fender flairs thta are rivoted on look like crap, nicest wheel in the world wont make up for that crappy look. Sorry if this offends you. |
What's wrong with a Nismo wing on a stock body..? Or "cheap" Forgestar wheels (which weigh nearly exactly the same as the forged Rays that come on the car)... Or vented fenders for that matter? At least none of those things will fall off/wreck your car if you happen to go through a big dip or over a speed bump.
I've always been a big advocate of "to each his own" and doing whatever the hell you want with your hard earned cash.. It just seems like the OP wasn't quite prepared to hear people's honest reactions to his idea. 370Z guys are a lot like Porsche guys: purists that don't take kindly to mods that lower the car's performance potential rather than raising it....... So if you post pics of a photoshopped Z with janky looking rivet on fenders be prepared to be flamed to holy hell for it. |
op needs to change to new handle: ufoz8mycar (you fools ate my car) :icon17:

That could be a good thing though. Good advertisement for the car in those high-UFO-crime areas... :ugh2: Or the other way around. I think I'll avoid those areas now. |

Op, if that style is what you like then do whatever makes you happy. It's your car. I would break someone’s fingers off if they tried installing that on my car though.
