center lock wheels and hub?

why has nobody made a conversion kit for this car yet? this is a pretty common mod in the //M community. it wouldn't serve much of a purpose other than to be unique, but i'd totally like to see a vendor offer it.

just makes it easier for someone to jack your wheels, no thanks

also i dont run center caps on tuner type wheels...and prefer the look of nice aftermarket open lugs. :yum: cant wait to try my neochromes on my WEDS.

yah, lugs look better.

DEpointfive0 03-04-2014 01:47 PM

How much would a set of wheels cost?!?!?!

BGTV8 03-04-2014 03:35 PM

Forgeline monoblock GA1 style 18x10 @ ~US$1500 each

Braid Forged GT 18 x 10 @ US$1300

Rimstock 18 x 11 (same as V8SuperCars use) are AUD 600 each, but offset may be a problem and the centre bolt is large diameter (75mm)

Braid do a fixing kit - images here .... search for "mononut"

i would say quite the opposite. what kinda wheel thief is gonna wanna go purchase a 1-off socket to remove those? considering most come with the center lug kits themselves, thats highly unlikely. i mean, a set of sockets can remove any wheel you want with normal lug nuts.

Not to mention, center locks are typically torqued to like 180 ft lbs with one of these

i would LOVE to see your average wheel thief tackle one of these

I would love to get center locking wheels, but the price is a bit steep. :(
