I noticed the other day when admiring my engine after around 1000 miles with the S.C., that the bolt holding a pully has barely rubbed/grinded on the rubber joint holding my air intake to my blower. Just wondering if anyone elses Stillen kit is this close and or had problems with this?

wow, that's super close. can you fabricate a metal cover or something to protect the coupler? :)

also them hose clamps not positioned perfectly even would drive me nuts. :icon17: lol

Put one more hose clamp in between those two right where the bolt would touch, it would squeeze the rubber down a little more

that would also act like a cover as well, i suppose.

Yes the alignment of the clamps, ALL the clamps were not matched when i got it back from the shop.. im sad to say i've let it go this long with out fixing it, but in Indiana its quite cold still. but the extra hose clamp idea would be best since i cant fabricate anything.

 looks like you found a solution and a fun little project when it gets warmer.

Mine doesn't look that close.

I spent a lot of my childhood in Peru and still have family there. I miss the A&W stands.

Me two! They weren't that way when I went to pick it up (along with a few other things I didn't like) and they no longer work on my car. I know it's a small thing but it reflects how an installer cares about their work in my opinion.

it does. most speedshops can install them, but it's the little details where one sets them apart from others.

I'm glad I'm not the only one OCD about hose clamps.:icon17:
