Is this something i shold worry about?

long story short, car starts normal for 2 seconds, then dies. Tried it two more times with the same results. Engine dies but the radio and other indicators are still on.

i had to turn the car off completely before it starts normal again. Never happen to me before so i am just wondering if anyone else have the same experience

I did park in a parking lot with a slight decline for about 2 hours, dont know if this is significant.

This happened to me once about a year ago. Knock on wood never happened again. Although my battery did need replacing a week later.

I remember reading this from another forum member, I can't remember who but it sounded like he had a similar issue I'm not sure how it ended up

Vacuum leak?

Does it happen a lot? Could it be the warm fuel line problem or whatever that causes the car to die if it's warm?

Fuel pumps seem like they are becoming a more prevalent issue, but rare. If I'm in the OC, I'll head over

Update:

Well it only happened once, first time in 3 years and i made it home without any problems. i will see if it happens again.

It "could" be the fact that i didnt step on the break paddle hard enough or releasing it too fast when the car is starting.

i will see if it happens again to tomorrow, i will explore the options mentioned if it does. Thanks a lot for the help guys, i will have something to look into if it happens again

when my fuel pump went out the car would start but idle like it was running on two retarded cylinders! the shaking and bucking from the engine was horrible!

your prob doesnt sound like a fuel pump issue. 2 hours on the nissan consult machine turned up a bad fuel pump on mine.
