safe mode after stall ??

I was teaching my little sister how to drive a stick tonight and I noticed that my car went into safe mode (I think) after she stalled it the 3rd time.

The peddle wasn't very responsive with a "rev limit" around 2k rpms. The motor also had a 1300rpm idle and a bit of a sputter. It went away after shutting it off and didn't return, although she only stalled one more time.

Anything here I should be concerned about? Anyone ever had the same issue?

Mike

Yes no big problem. Just rest the CEL codes and you should be fine. If not pull the battery power off of 30 seconds

It happened again, but I think it was bc she was hitting the start button without letting it fully turn off. Had her start hitting the button after a stall to turn it "off" then turning it back on. No more problems thanks

Clutches are expensive. Teach her in a 15 yeard old beater!

Jesus. Seems like a tough car to be taught in. Good luck man!

Used OEM clutches are almost free, and the CSC will go out so you can have then install your almost free clutch for almost no labor

The only problem I see here is that you were training a rookie with your Z. :icon17:

anata is a more formal and polite way.

anta is more of a 'hey you biotch over yonder' casual way. :icon17:
