what trim comes with nav/bluetooth?

As the title says. Which trim comes with navigation and bluetooth? im mostly curious about whether or not it has bluetooth. from as much as i know, the touring model comes with it.

Did you have to ask for nav when buying it new? or is there a trim that comes with nav/bluetooth without asking for it? Or does a model without nav come with bluetooth? btw im talking about a 2009 370z.

thanks in advanced!:bowrofl:

Sorry about all the questions!:tiphat:

KaienZ34 02-02-2014 09:45 PM

Touring comes with BT, nav is extra at least it was in 09.

DEpointfive0 02-02-2014 10:05 PM

You need touring with the Nav package.

You can just ask for a car that has Nav, you cannot get it without getting the touring package

H2O_Doc 02-02-2014 10:53 PM

Better question is what car comes with trim?

xiaxio 02-03-2014 10:57 PM

So do all touring come with bluetooth? And not all touring come with nav?

dirtrat 02-03-2014 11:26 PM

As far as I know, Nav is an option and doesn't come with Touring or Sport.

Correct, touring comes with BT, Nav is an extra option.

kenchan 02-04-2014 08:58 AM

probably better off just going aftermarket unless you want the upper factory nav trim for cosmetic reasons. it does look nice...but you're committed to that setup.

if you get the base you can swap HU as many times as you want easily.

if youre planning to keep the car for a long time, it might be better going aftermarket and keep up with the times.

I have a 2009 with sport, touring and NAV, but I do not quite understand what the question is. The car came as is already on the show room floor.

I do not think I've ever seen a base model with just NAV.

mcphelps 02-04-2014 09:44 AM

Be aware that in 09, bluetooth was for phone only; you can not stream audio. Not sure about newer models.

100% true, 2009 was for phone calls, and 2010 could stream audio

You cannot get base with Nav. The prerequisite of Nav is the Touring package.

The 2009's Bluetooth is only good for phone calls. 2010 and up can stream audio as well

kenchan 02-04-2014 11:22 AM

via pandora remotely or ?

I don't understand... With the 2009's you cannot play any music through Bluetooth

xiaxio 02-04-2014 01:06 PM

Thanks guys! So in other words... If I want bluetooth for calls and MUSIC from my phone I need to get a 2010 touring and ask if the original buyer asked for navigation when buying it?

Also: do all touring 370z come with bluetooth or is the nav screen necessery?

KaienZ34 02-04-2014 01:09 PM

You don't need nav for BT, plus you WILL know if it has nav just by looking on the inside on the car.

KaienZ34 02-04-2014 01:12 PM

2 Attachment(s)
10 sec search...

With nav Attachment 83470

With out nav Attachment 83471

xiaxio 02-05-2014 12:22 AM

Thanks. I know what the nav looks like :) so just clarifying. A 2010 370z can have bluetooth without the navigation screen? And also how does that work? :/

KaienZ34 02-05-2014 06:18 AM

OK now I KNOW we are being trolled!!

I looked at the 2010 owners manual.

For phone Bluetooth, you don't need nav; its all done with voice commands (pairing, dialing, etc). Page 4-85
For streaming audio Bluetooth, you need nav. Page 4-56

I looked at 2014 370Z at nissanusa.com
Bluetooth phone is part of the touring package
Bluetooth streaming audio is part of the nav upgrade to the touring package.

TheGreatOne 02-05-2014 01:51 PM

Audio bluetooth doesn't work on the 2010. If they fixed that finally on the 2014 thats great.

KaienZ34 02-05-2014 02:24 PM

Don't feed the troll guys, it's been told to him ten times and a hundred different ways.

I'm no troll just a little slow. But in all honesty I'm just making 100% sure I know what I'm getting. Sorry :icon14::p

Audio streaming via Bluetooth works great on my 2013 (with navigation).

Same.

For the earlier models just connect your phone to Bluetooth and call someone who can patch in some music!

It works on mine. You can only have the audio hooked up or the phone, but not both at the same time. I'm able to stream Pandora and whatever else I want through blue tooth on my 2010.

^ this. You must have the Touring to have Bluetooth. You can only audio stream through Bluetooth if you have nav, otherwise it is strictly for phone calls. I have the Touring with Bose (no nav) so I have bluetooth but no audio streaming. I was disappointed when I found this out...I love audio streaming through bluetooth :yum:
