In Sacramento, everyone has a Mustang, or wants one. What do you guys think about the new C7? Looks anyways, cause performance is awesome in it. My wife's uncle ordered one, personally I don't like the back or the front. I still think the C6 is better looking, I even think the 15 Mustang looks better and I don't even like it. The Jaguar F-Type looks better than anything on the road, I seen one at Cal Expo this summer and fell in love.

I seen one, it was on 65th avenue in sacramento. It was white, with the Z51 package. Initially when my wife saw it she loved it, when I saw it I couldn't stop staring at the retainer on the grill, the tailights weren't too bad but didn't match the car, the worst is the retainer and the giant diffuser on it. Hahaha an F-Type is like a million vagina's in one.

Hope I don't sound stupid, but you're a troll!
If you are that worried about the "stuff" you've been writing, go drive one and then come back. If you are just trolling then go away and never log back in. I hate it when people ask dumb questions about a car but can't find a few hours out of the day to test drive one, but yet spend X amount of time posting junk. Opinions are worthless from others if you haven't been behind the wheel of a the car in question. kthxbye |
I loved my 2009 dodge Challenger Rt and I still love my 2012 Challenger Rt with the Mopar exterior package..Warrenty will end in Nov 2014 (36 months low mileage}
As I said I don't like the New Stangs and will see what the 2015 Camaros will look like and I don't see a change as of yet with a 2015 Challenger Rt. As I have said I like the looks of the 370Z and hate too buy one if there will be a NEW style 2015 0r 2016 around the corner. Only problem as I said it does not have that Rumble as a V8 that I can tell...JT |

It may seem stupid but that's probably the biggest reason I didn't get a 5.0 Mustang instead; there are just too damn many of them around. This coming from a Mustang fan, too. The 'Stang is undoubtedly the faster car and the reason it's selling like hotcakes is because it's brilliant. But somehow the Z is cooler.;) |

I happen to agree there is not much too pick from
The M3 does nothing for me I am not going to spend $45 - $60,000 for a car that I only keep for less then 3 years. I have Owned many New stang Gts over the years 1996,2000,2003,2006 and needed a change so went with a 2009 and 2012 Challenger Rts Yep Stangs are all over the place and the Camaro not as much.I hardly ever see a Challenger or a 370Z Agree that the 370Z might be able to kick a Challengers Butt in a 1/4 mile and the Challenger weights almost like a large boat or maybe as heavy as the Staten Island Ferry.......JT |
Challenger rt is not far off a z as far as speed and mod for mod rt will be faster. Interior is plain and handling is not as good as the z. Drive the z on all roads to see if you can live with it.

In my opinion before buying my 2012 Nismo 370, I tested out so many cars, STI, 5.0, Camaro 2SS, and the Charger SRT8. I was driving a Altima 3.5SR so this was a big step in performance, I honestly can say I was impressed with all but the handling is was really got my attention, the STI and the Z were really fun to drive and I felt more respect towards the two since usually American Cars are mostly made for power and not really made to give the driver a better experience. I narrowed it down to the 370z and STI but the styling on the Z is what won the decision, especially the NISMO. I ended up buying it used to save some money and upgrading to TT. Also I don't really see that many Zs and I live to LA lol, I'll see like 4 most a week, and the compliments I get are non stop from anyone. I mean why get a 2015 or if your waiting for the new redesigned one, there's only drawing right now, concept might come out in 2015 but won't be for sale till 2016-2017 since Nissan is still working on the IDX, refreshed Titan, and they just introduced there new sport sedan which might be the new Maxima.

The interior of the Camaro is so much more cramped than any car I've ever been in and since I drive an auto, I couldn't stand not having a slap shift. The camaro and the 5.0 have those terrible shifters, like they're hideous. The 2015 Mustang still doesn't have a slap stick! Only paddles! I'm happy I have both, slap shift and paddles is cool. I'm not about daaaat stick shift life.

Oh, I'm assuming he has a physical ailment that affects his use of his left leg. I mean, why else would someone choose an auto? Not even some fancy DSG BS, but a traditional slushbox?
Let's see how fast someone takes the bait |

I hate to say it, but if you want the real rumble of an 8 cylinder, you need to stick with an 8 cylinder. If you like doing mods, you can upgrade the Z's sound pretty easy and get near anything you want, but it's still not going to have quite the soul that a real 8 has.
For me, I like the sound of a 6, even though my pants get a little tight any time I hear a 5.0 next to me. Or a video of the F-Type (never heard one go in person). (Then again, sound isn't really the biggest thing to me; it's the look and the handling and how I feel in and outside the car that makes it for me.) The 5.0 sounds glorious, but that's really all it has going for me. |

Lmao, that's what Chrysler calls it. Yeah yeah, automatics are for sissy's, but it's alright. I like driving and looking at stuff around me and sometimes eating fries on a drive, I can't do that with a stick. I also would hate it in traffic, I use the paddles going straight lol. When I turn hard or something I'll use the slap stick, because the paddles turn with the steering wheel and it gets awkward. I'll have it on drive the whole time if I'm feeling super lazy. Nothing is wrong with me physically, I bought a fat comfortable car I wouldn't want to get a manual and worry about what gear I'm in or downshifting. We don't have that fancy rev match button!

I find it hard to believe your paddles move with the wheel seeing as mine are attached to the column. They don't move....

Picture isn't the best but you can see the paddles and wheel are completely separate.

I'm pretty sure they do, cause the paddles are attached to the back of the steering wheel. On the challenger music is controlled behind the steering wheel also, right next to the paddles. So if I'm turning it feels uncomfortable to use them.

Nm I was referring to the Z.

Get a 370Z Auto & you will win every race versus any R/T. Here is a video & yes that's an R/T.
12.9 s @ 107 mph vs. R/T's 14.8 s @ 94 mph https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3-SP6LHsWw |
I test drove a v6 Challenger and Charger, and recently just 2 weeks ago i tried the New R/T Trim of both. I was pretty excited to try out the Hemi engine in Challenger :happydance: and the moment that i started flooring the car, i was like :wtf2::gtfo2:
I would never buy challenger for performance/power, unless you're going after muscle cars then it is a good choice, comparing to stangs/camero |
