LOL! And charging an Extra 5K for the honor of being the only one to every buy a Monteray blue Z. :D

That's fine, mine will be white!

It's because they know that Monterey blue is the real head turner:tup:

Black 1

White 0

Crash 12-27-2008 04:26 PM

^^^ Shouldn't that be "blue 0"?

Lets face it.. White is right. More people want white for a reason... :)

And that reason is because black comes with an ugly tax.

I've read that for a proper driving position you need to be able to rest your wrists on the top of the steering wheel comfortably.

There is no way that guy can do that in the position he is in.

Either he'd have to move the seat forward, cramping his legroom, or put the seat up vertically into an uncomfortable position.

I went to a dealer here and sat in one and the reach to the wheel was huge. I wish there was a telescoping wheel on the car. I just couldn't get into a comfortable position. I'm used to this in FWD cars because they tend to be more upright and with less legroom. I figured being a low slung 2 seater that I'd be all set

Here are my thoughts I posted on a different forum (www.carspin.net):

I got to sit in a 370 tonight and holy mother of god, I want one. I looooooooove the sightlines out of the front, and how the base of the windshield is not far from the driver (it's got a short dashboard).

The only things I didn't care for were the lack of seat travel (I could get more legroom in the MINI) and lack of telescoping steering wheel. When I had the seat adjusted for my legs, I'd have to sit at what seemed 90 degrees upright to have my arms at the proper distance. I figured this would be a non issue in a low slung sports car, but it's just about as bad as FWD cars.

Also, sitting in it and looking back at the cargo hold was a reality check. In all of the pictures of the cargo hold, the depth looks pretty substantial. When I saw the height of the glass from the bottom of the trunk though, it left a lot to be desired. I have a piece of luggage I usually travel with and it wouldn't be able to fit between the two. Seems to be about the same usable room in the 370 as in the S2000. (with the S2000 having an easier to pack rectangle space).

I really want it, but then I think, if I'm going to make concessions on cargo space and buy some new soft luggage, why not just get a convertible to use it in

Another note, the car I saw (check my thread in GT for pictures) had the standard 18" wheels that I liked a lot more than the optional 19s all the reviews have had. The tire/wheel ratio from the side looks a lot better and is more racy then the ricey 19s.

Interior materials were top notch, I felt as if I could be in an Audi or BMW with the leather paddings, cloth coverings, and soft touch materials.
